hope stretch knit sneakers. You likely know Cougar best for its weatherproof winter and rain boots, but did you know this season the brand launched a new sneaker collection?! We’re talking ultra-lightweight knit sneakers (the same weight as an iPhone, btw), slip-on and even soft leather kicks in a range of summer’s hottest colours. Our personal pick? These Hope Stretch Knit Sneakers ($90) in (of course) pink!
tree skippers. Besides the whimsical name, these Tree Skippers ($135) by Allbirds boast a classic style that’s balanced with a slim lightness to put a spring in every step and keep you cool when the sun is shining.
techloom phantom shoe. These runners ($195) fit comfortably as a glove—scratch that, a sock—and give your feet unrestricted movement. According to Lululemon’s website, "The sleek, considered design gives you a distraction-free experience whether you’re running on the track or through the downtown core." And they come in rose-gold so … sold!
faux-leather classic sneakers. Can’t do summer without a pair of classic white kicks. By Old Navy, these faux-leather lace-ups ($30) boast cushioned insoles with memory foam (the closest thing to walking on lazily drifting summer clouds).
überknit slip-on ballet flats. Summer is all about … comfort! These slip-ons ($120) by Fitflop can be considered "ballet flats with more pump less thump." Soft, stretchy, sporty-looking, fun and feather-light, these gorgeous little shoes are a must-have for the season.
