Best Friend Beauty Reviews: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5

July 12, 2018

Here at Vita Daily we often ask our close girlfriends to review beauty products for us (we trust them to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth). Here, Sabina dishes on her most-trusted moisturizer!

Hi everyone, it’s the editor’s BFF back to share more of my favourite beauty products. And, now that our face is clean, it’s is time to moisturize. I don’t know about all of you but I have always found it hard to find a good moisturizer that does not break the bank … and I finally did with La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5.

This product is amazing; as soon as I put it on I feel my skin drinking it all in. I have combination skin and find it tricky to gets the moisture back in my cheeks (which can get particularly dry) without having my T-zone get excessively greasy and Cicaplast Baume B5 does the trick! I put a quarter-size amount on my fingers and start with my cheeks, working it all over my face, neck and décolletage. While it does take a minute or two to sink in fully (and you will have a bit of a white mask on for a minute or two), once it fully absorbs my skin has a wonderful dewy look and feels soft and amazing!

Best of all, this moisturizer is extremely affordable. A 40 mL tube costs $16, but I found some limited-edition 100 mL tubes for $25 at Shoppers Drug Mart and stocked up (full disclosure: I’m hoarding seven of these babies in my bathroom drawer)! Hey, when I find something that works, I stick to it, and La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 has secured a solid spot in my beauty arsenal. —Sabina Srubiski
