Crispy Baked Eggplant With Parmesan

A crowd-favourite ingredient for any Italian dish, tomatoes are a great source of vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, and recognized for supporting the immune system and aiding in the growth and repair of body tissue. However, tomato acidity can accelerate dental erosion caused by the plaque acids that form in your mouth. Enjoy your favorite tomato-based dishes but be sure to combat their acidic effects with the natural power of baking soda found in Arm & Hammer Toothpastes.

Eggplant
Salt
2 cups almond flour
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
2 eggs
Marinara sauce
Fresh basil

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Slice the eggplant into 3/4-inch disks, and lay in a single layer on a baking sheet, sprinkling each side with salt. Let rest for 10 minutes. Using a paper towel, blot extracted water from each disk. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs. In another clean bowl, mix together the almond flour, rosemary, garlic powder, basil and parmesan cheese. Dip each eggplant disk into the egg, and then cover generously in the dry mixture, arranging the breaded eggplant back into a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until lightly browned. While still warm, spoon marinara onto each disk, and top with a small piece of basil.

Cilantro Lime Avocado Yogurt Dip

Limes are a delicious and refreshing ingredient to add to any spring dish! Packed with antioxidants and vitamin C, limes are said to help improve digestion, rejuvenate skin and reduce inflammation. However, these green fruits are also highly acidic and can accelerate dental erosion and weakening of the enamel, causing teeth to lose protective minerals. Arm & Hammer Toothpastes help neutralize these acids thanks to the natural power of baking soda.

1 cup Greek yogurt
1 medium avocado
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
1/2 garlic clove
Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp tahini

To a high speed blender or food processor, add all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy!
