The leaves are starting to fall, and September is here! To celebrate the turning of the seasons, Crowbar Restaurant in Vancouver’s hip Fraserhood—a top spot in the city for local craft cider—is sharing a cocktail recipe featuring our favourite autumn beverage (er, cider!). Cheers! —Vita Daily
Negroni Sbagliato
30 ml Campari Liquer
30 ml Sweet Vermouth
Topped with Lone Tree Apple Cider
1 dried apple slice
This cocktail is for the bold and playful. True to its name Sbagliato meaning “mistake” in Italian is a nod to the happy experimentation of replacing prosseco with cider. The strong sip can also be crafted and enjoyed on the spot for a more potent flavour. Simply stir all the ingredients and pour over a large ice cube in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a dried apple slice.
