River to runway? Mais oui!
During Paris Fashion Week, on September 30th, L’Oréal Paris is hosting a show—Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris—on (yes, on) the iconic Seine River. The brand is presenting an extraordinary fashion and beauty experience, where models will walk on water (well, a 60-metre floating runway) wearing looks from 12 renowned designers and emerging talent. Balmain, Elie Saab, Isabel Marant, Miu Miu and Off White are just some of the designers taking part this year! More fun facts: 200,000 people are expected to attend, as it’s open to the public; an estimated 9,545 L’Oréal Paris hair and makeup products will be used; and the Seine will see 30 minutes of halted-boat traffic!
