If schlepping from winery to winery seems like a chore (we know, First World problems), your tasting dreams are about to come true.
Arterra Canada is celebrating the opening of its brand-new Great Estates Wine Experience Centre, created as a way to educate visitors to B.C.’s Okanagan on the diversity and award-winning quality of wines from this region. The tasting room showcases a variety of single-vineyard wines and offers guided tastings that will focus on the history of the Okanagan and why certain grapes grow so well in this part of Canada. Among the wines currently available in the tasting room: Black Sage Vineyard’s 2015 Meritage, Inniskillin’s Discovery Series 2015 Zinfandel and Dark Horse Vineyard 2016 Pinot Noir, Nk’mip Cellars’ Qwam Qwmt 2015 Syrah, Sunrock Vineyards’ Tier 1 2015 Illumina and See Ya Later Ranch’s Legacy 2016 Chardonnay.
Consider it your new one-stop wine shop (you’re welcome). —Vita Daily
