Kid Stuff at Ikea

October 23, 2018

For the fifth year at Ikea, children from around the world were invited to enter the company’s soft toy drawing competition with their dream soft toy. An astonishing 87,000 pieces of kid art were submitted!

This year, in time for the holidays, five unique creations—including a pink unicorn living in the clouds, a rainbow-coloured shark travelling the seas, a mischievous blue monster (called Monster, of course), a hedgehog-dinosaur-monster hybrid with a passion for tropical fruit and a dotted seal who loves to play with his fishy best friends—were chosen to encompass the limited-edition collection called Sagoskatt in stores this November. Best of all, as part of the Let’s Play for Change campaign, Ikea will donate the complete turnover of the collection to local charities across Canada in support of children’s rights to play and develop!
