Dry shampoos can be a lifesaver when your hair is being overly active (i.e., gets oily) or when a full-on shampooing isn’t feasible. But be careful: dry shampoo shouldn’t be used as a complete replacement of regular shampoo. While it’s ideal to soak up excess dirt and grease in-between regular washings, if overused, it can make your scalp dry, itchy and flaky.
