A tragedy recently occured at my yoga studio: a fellow yogi, mistaking my size-seven Vans for their size-eights, unknowlingly took my shoes. I am now left Van-less, and a little worse for wear.
Luckily, as of today, the sneakers-maker has released its resurrected Style 73 DX, featuring high foxing, a high-gloss sidewall finish, suede uppers, a custom woven label and UltraCush sockliner for even more comfort and impact cushioning. The collection features throwback 1990s design details, including utilizing the original style numbers and colour palettes, reissued prints, cotton laces and original drill lining weight to complete the vintage aesthetic.
They’re available in black, red, and light blue, and I can’t wait to get my Vans game back on. —Noa Nichol
