Hi Ashley! What is Botanēa and what makes it different from other hair dyes at Suki’s?
Botanēa is the first plant-based/vegan professional hair colour on the market. It is made from three different plants and is safe for everyone to use. The application process gives a spa-like experience.
How does Botanēa work?
Unlike traditional plant-based colours, the processing time is only one hour and is activated by boiling water. When mixed with hot water, it actually enables colourists to create an infinite palette of shades and tailor them to each client. A professional will apply Botanēa on wet hair, and then will be shampooed with a unique toner to form the colour immediately.
Is Botanēa good for everyone or only certain hair types/colours?
Botanēa is great for anyone who has sensitivities to regular colour, and wants to enhance their natural colour. It’s not 100 per cent perfect for grey coverage, but it does provide grey blending. It is important to note that, since it is an all-natural formula, it won’t add a colour lift to the hair. Botanēa can only deepen or stay on the same level of colour already in the hair.
