Go green: it’s most certainly the mantra of the modern world. And, for our friends at Garnier, it’s a key brand commitment, too.
Not only does Garnier care about what goes into its products, but the company is also committed to reduce its plastic consumption. That’s why Garnier Whole Blends shampoo bottles are made of recyclable PET plastic with 30 per cent post-consumer recycled waste and are produced in a facility committed to sustainability, reducing its waste and water consumption by approximately 58 per cent and 47 per cent respectively since 2005. That’s a lot of numbers but, trust us, they’re great ones!
Not only that, this weekend Garnier is bringing its tour of the Garnier Whole Blends Greenhouse to Toronto. Consumers (that’s you!) are invited to join the Garnier team to play, touch and feel the ingredients that make up the brand’s beloved Whole Blends products (think natural additions like olive oil, coconut water, green tea and honey). We loved attending the Vancouver event at Pacific Centre mall last month, where we enjoyed hair touchups at the Garnier Braid Bar and capturing many a moment in front of the wholesome photo wall. The best part? In conjunction with the launch of its travelling Greenhouse, Garnier is offering the chance for consumers (the first 200 participants) to reduce their own plastic footprint. Bring one empty bottle of your current hair-care products and swap it for a full Whole Blends range including shampoo, conditioner and a treatment. Limit of one swap per participant.
