On September 28th, 2019, Vancouver will welcome its first CondoExpo. The event, at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver Hotel, will bring the best condo projects together in one place at one time and offers buyers a new, more transparent and convenient way to shop for a condo. The best part? The expo is being designed by local event planner Aly Armstrong, meaning it’s sure to wow! We chatted with Aly about what we can expect to see at the upcoming CondoExpo. —Noa Nichol

Hi Aly! Tell us a bit about yourself to start!

Over a decade ago, I began my career in the events industry. I am proud to have produced events across North America that allow me to push creative boundaries to execute truly unique and memorable events. I am a mom, wife and entrepreneur and am very grateful for how my career has developed in the way that it has.

What was the impetus to produce the first-ever CondoExpo in Vancouver?

I’m working with a talented group of visionaries who have decades of real estate experience. In an effort to combat an overwhelming purchase process and prevent any chance for buyer’s remorse, the one-stop-shop experience will expedite the process. For the first time ever, we’re bringing the best condo projects together in one place, for one day, to offer buyers a new, more transparent and convenient way to shop for a condo.

Tell us about the event—what can attendees expect?

Set to take place at the iconic JW Marriott Parq Vancouver Hotel, attendees will be empowered by unprecedented options and information from developers. In addition to the best projects there will be all types of financing options available to buyers as well as opportunities for fractional or micro share ownership of real estate. Attendees can also sit-in on breakout sessions hosted by industry leaders throughout the day.

Of course! The event will continue to showcase my passion for event production while ensuring the guest experience is memorable and filled with actionable takeaways.
