Here’s a hot wardrobe-building opportunity with a charitable twist: on September 7th and 8th, 2019, Holt Renfrew has committed to a national charity shopping weekend with a goal of raising $200,000 for the Elephant Crisis Fund and its #knotonmyplanet campaign to promote elephant conservation.
Limited-ed elephant totes designed by supermodels Doutzen Kroes, Behati Prinsloo Levine and Anya Rubik will be available at Holts that weekend only as a gift with purchase when you spend $300 or more. The retailer has also commissioned a limited collection of T-shirts and sweatshirts, socks and more designed by socially conscious Canadian brand Kotn. Featuring an elephant illustration by artist Melody Hansen, 100 per cent of profits of the Kotn range will also be donated to the Elephant Crisis Fund.
Finally, in October, look for the hand-beaded elephant bag designed by Spanish leather-goods house Loewe and creative director Jonathan Anderson. Only 15 of these will be up for grabs, with all proceeds donated to ECF’s #knotonmyplanet campaign. —Vita Daily
