A new episode of Fendi’s #MeAndMyPeekaboo series—celebrating stylish families and their unique bond—has been released, this time starring actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys Zeta Douglas and shot at Fendi’s Roman headquarters. Use one word to describe your daughter/mom?

Catherine: Fearless.

Carys: Glamorous.

How is your relationship with each other? What the best part?

Catherine: We are very close. We talk about everything. The best part is being her mother. I am so proud of her.

Carys: I am lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with my mother. It’s really special. We are open and honest with each other. She has taught me all the ins and outs of life but also to have fun and to cherish every moment. Our sense of humour is pretty similar so we are always laughing when we are together. She is honestly the funniest person I know.

What does Fendi mean to you?

Catherine: Innovative and elegant fashion.

Carys: Family. The second we started working with Fendi they made us feel right at home and welcomed us. It also means elegance and timelessness. Fendi fully embodies all it means to be an Italian brand.

Use three words to describe the Peekaboo bag.

Catherine: Versatile, unique and chic.

Carys: Fun, versatile and elegant.

Would you define the Peekaboo as timeless? Why?

Catherine: The Peekaboo is timeless yet modern. I love its shape with those beautiful lines and the varieties of colours.

Carys: I believe the Peekaboo bag is timeless because it can work for any occasion, for any person. It is elegant yet fun.

How would you describe yourself? What is a characteristic you have in common with the Peekaboo bag?

Catherine: I’m an art lover and love all form of art from interior design to fashion. I believe that the Peekaboo bag and I know both how to keep a secret.

Carys: I think the Peekaboo bag and I both have that sense of versatility. We are able to work and adapt to different situations easily, whether if that’s with fashion or just in life.

The Peekaboo is all about secrets. Tell us about your hidden you?

Catherine: I would … but then it wouldn’t be a secret!

Carys: One secret? I can run really fast in high heels.

Tell us about your shooting in Rome. What do you like about the Eternal City? Any fun anecdote from the day on set?

Catherine: The shooting in Rome was amazing. I’ve shot there many times and I always love it! Each location we shot in was exceptional and meaningful, from Palazzo Altemps to the Fendi headquarters. It was a hot day in Rome and the hand-held fans came in very handy. It was nice because we all shared them with each other. Everyone loved having that windblown look right in the palm of their hand.

Carys: One thing I like the most about the city was the light. Depending on the time of day, Rome would be cast in different shades of gold. It is absolutely stunning. We had so much fun on set. The team played music the whole time. Luckily enough we have the same taste in music so we were listening to all classic rock and disco as we shot and dancing between takes.
