Designed with a patented technology, Restylane Skinboosters uses a unique form of hyaluronic acid that naturally integrates into the skin to noticeably improve skin smoothness, elasticity and appearance in the face (lower cheek/jawline), upper neck and back of the hands, with clinical studies showing results may last up to six months.
Also unique is how Restylane Skinboosters works in the skin, gradually refreshes the look of skin over a series of treatments (for us, that means two more treatments in the coming months, and then a maintenance plan to follow).
Truth be told, our initial procedure involved quite a few pricks in our face and neck (the latter to help minimize our "necklace lines"). There was no bleeding but, when we left, several bruises had already started to bloom. Not shy, we went about our day as normal (including a yoga class and light facial); in the coming week or so, the bruises darkened, then lightened, then totally disappeared.
