Winter means our skin is drier than ever and in need of any help it can get. Lucky for us, our friends at Osmos Skin, in the heart of Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood, have helped us reset our poor dermis through reverse osmosis.
Osmos Skin offers DMK Enzyme Therapy—a two-hour face and decolletage treatment that creates balance in the skin by allowing the skin cells to work optimally. The treatment does this by stimulating transfer messenger enzymes to create reverse osmosis (the flushing away of toxins) while bringing nutrients and oxygenated blood to the skin, leaving skin hydrated, toned, healthier and glowing! Prior to the treatment, our skin was thoroughly cleansed with a product that turned existing toxins into a vaporous gas. The treatment then involved a hard-setting mask with enzymes to help speed up the cellular process within our skin (the downward pressure of the mask aimed to stimulate your circulatory system.
Applied using methods to support lymphatic drainage, as the mask set (it took about 45 minutes), we were treated to an extensive arm massage, then left feeling refreshed, relaxed and, dare we say, absolutely gorgeous! —Vicki Duong
