With sporting event cancelled in light of COVID-19, we’re missing our fill of stadium food. Fortunately, chef Denis Guiol of Montreal’s Le Denis Dawgs has reinvented some big-league faves, providing tips on how to recreate epic stadium dishes, like nachos, in the comfort of our homes. —Vita Daily
Funky Nachos
Chips (nachos, Ruffles, Doritos—anything you have on hand)
Jalapeno or hot peppers
Roasted peppers
Red onions
Roasted tomato
Grilled chicken, bacon or ground beef, or marinated semi-hard tofu (a protein)
Mozzarella or Havarti cheese (mild and easy to melt)
1 spoon of guacamole on top
1 spoon of chive sour cream on top
Mix of fresh herbs (cilantro, basil, parsley) put on top
