Love Caps For COVID-19

April 9, 2020

Our lovely pals at Smash + Tess just launched a new initiative in support of COVID-19 health-care workers, and we’re just bursting with pride and love for them!

Inspired by a #smashtess girl and respiratory therapist in British Columbia, Jessica Lu, the brand wanted to give back to hospital workers who are especially vulnerable during this pandemic. Jessica shared that while not currently mandated, many health-care workers are fashioning their own headpieces to alleviate pressure on their ears from wearing masks all day and to cover their hair to further protect from the COVID-19 virus. That’s when the Smash + Tess team jumped to action, designing and manufacturing caps made out of their soft romper material (think stylish Lexi Leopard, Moss Green and Kaitlyn Ross). The goal: to have 500 Smash + Tess scrub caps donated to the Surrey Memorial Hospital and other in-need groups across B.C. this week.

Want to help? Whenever you check out on the Smash + Tess website, there’s the option to add $5 to the order. For every $5 donation, Smash + Tess will match it and a LuLove Cap will be donated to a hospital worker. A wonderful way to help! —Vita Daily
