We may not be able to visit our favourite wineries in B.C.’s Oliver Osoyoos region, but we can taste their wares—virtually. Below, four experiences that give new meaning to #sipathome. —Vita Daily
road 13 vineyards. GM Joe Luckhurst hosts Tireside Tastings beside the winery’s iconic red tractor every Thursday at 4.30 p.m. PST on Instagram Live. In recent sessions Road 13 has showcased the newly released 2018 Riesling and the 2017 Syrah Malbec.
kismet estate winery. The Sunday Live Series, every Sunday at 12 noon PST on Facebook and Instagram, sees the Kismet team discussing various wine topics, including wine pairing suggestions and a guided tasting from their portfolio. The winery is also offering personalized, virtual guided tastings, complimentary on purchase of three bottles.
bordertown winery. Don’t miss At Home with Bordertown—a virtual tasting series every Saturday at 6 p.m. PST on Facebook Live, with wine consultant Carl Boucher.
hester creek estate. The winery has posted a series of virtual tasting videos on its YouTube channel, with winemaker Mark Hopley offering tasting notes and pairing suggestions for the 2019 Pinot Gris Viognier.
