Help McArthurGlen Stock The Richmond Food Bank

May 22, 2020

Searching for a great cause to support? Look no further than McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport, which has officially reopened and will be providing shoppers with the opportunity to give back to the community this coming weekend.

McArthurGlen has partnered with the Richmond Football Club to host a food drive this Saturday and Sunday to encourage donations of necessary non-perishable food items and toiletries for those that need it most. This no-contact food drive (drop items off at the outlet’s main entrance between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.) will see all donations provided to the Richmond Food Bank Society, which has been helping more than 2,200 people in the community in the wake of COVID-19. The food bank is in need of peanut butter, soup, canned meat and fish, rice, pasta, cereal, canned vegetables, tomato sauce and canned fruit, as well as baby food and formula, unopened toiletries, personal hygiene items and feminine hygiene products.

The bonus? If in need of some long-awaited retail therapy, you can take advantage of the reopened shops after you drop off your donation. Now that’s what we call good giving! —Vita Daily
