In celebration of this legacy, the new Vans x National Geographic collection features footwear and apparel to inspire creative expression and ignite the explorer in all of us.
For the collection, unique NatGeo photographs (including iconic covers) and logos are featured on six of Vans’ classic silhouettes: the Sk8-Hi Reissue 138, Old Skool, Authentic, Era, Classic Slip-On and UltraRange EXO. Equally as recognizable as the Vans Sidestripe, NatGeo’s yellow border evokes a sense of adventure and boundless discovery. Kids can also express their inner explorer when wearing the Xtreme Ranger patterned with the NatGeo logo or the Classic Slip-On covered in a kaleidoscope of unique images of wildlife conservation. Oh, and there’s men’s and women’s apparel, too.
The best part? Based on both brands’ deep appreciation for the environment, the materials utilized in this collection were thoughtful, including organic cotton canvas uppers, recycled PET shoelaces and packaging. —Vita Daily
