Why Your Metabolism Needs Metavo (Win!)

October 4, 2020

How much do you really know about your metabolism—not to mention, what it means for your well-being?

Metabolism is the process by which your body converts what you eat and drink into energy; it’s critical to your long-term health. Metabolic health can be defined as having ideal levels of blood sugar, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein, cholesterol, blood pressure and waist circumference, without using medications. These factors directly relate to your risk for heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

The key to good metabolism? Proper nutrition—and that includes foods with healthy fats instead of saturated fat. An example of a good-fat food? Avocado. Avocados pack a punch, with tonnes of nutrients like antioxidants, omega-3 fats and essential vitamins like C, E, K, B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium and potassium (that’s a mouthful!).

But the really special thing about avocados (other than their magical relationship with toast) is the fact that they, and only they, contain a unique fat molecule called Avocatin B (AvoB) that can be used to maintain a healthy metabolism, blood sugar levels and weight in adults. The catch: since the amount of natural AvoB varies widely in avocados, eating avocados alone would likely be ineffective (you’d also have to eat a lot of them, and that could get, well, pricey).

Here’s the good news: there’s an easier way to get a standardized dose of AvoB molecule, through a natural supplement called Metavo. Available as an easy-to-use powder or capsule, each serving of Metavo is perfectly portioned and optimally balanced to deliver the right amount of AvoB to boost your metabolism. Metavo powder sachets are naturally sweetened with monk fruit extract and all Metavo products are plant-based, nut free, non-GMO, natural and packed with all the avocado love (and none of the pits).

Your metabolism will thank you. —Vita Daily
