The latest version of Estée Lauder’s most beloved product, Advanced Night Repair, is inspired by the science of epigenetics. The word literally means “over genetics,” which is the way what we do and experience affects how genes are expressed. Launched in August, Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex is said to prompt skin to repair itself, using a plant-derived ingredient called adansonia digitata seed extract. We asked three women to try it over a period of four weeks, and the results—skin that’s visibly plumper and firmer, not to mention protected against aggressors like pollution, blue light and UV rays—speak for themselves. —Vita Daily
Vicki, 31: “My skin is combo-oily, and my normal daily routine includes a gel cleanser, toner, niacinamide, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning and, at night, a cleansing balm, foaming cleanser, toner and heavy cream. As a lifestyle blogger, I do get to try a lot of products, so I was excited to use the new Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex.
