This holiday season is going to be a bit strange. Though many of us may be foregoing the large celebrations and get-togethers that typically mark the season, we don’t need to forgo a festive spirit entirely. To help keep us all in a celebratory mood, Canada-wide tech school Lighthouse Labs is giving back to the community, with their 15 Days of Lighthouse contest.
Lighthouse Labs has been a key player in Canada’s tech education scene since their launch in 2013. They’re experts at delivering hands-on education that allows their students to thrive in an increasingly tech-dominated workforce. What they’re interested in is empowering their students to develop their skills, foster innovation, and grow into their most capable selves possible.
Over the next couple weeks, entrants into the contest have 15 different chances to win a daily prize. Grand prizes will be announced on December 3rd, 2020, at the school’s Demo Day.
Increase Your Chances To Win With Multiple Entries!
The grand prize winner gets to swap out their computer for a brand-new Macbook Pro, the perfect addition to any home-office setup. The first prize winner leaves with a set of Bose noise-cancelling headphones, to help them focus while working from home. The second prize winner has an opportunity to remodel their home office with a $500 Ikea gift card. If you win the third price you won’t have to worry about caffeine cravings any longer, after taking home a Nespresso Lattissima One.
An additional total of 15 daily winners will take home a $100 Amazon gift card, so they can customize their own WFH makeover in whatever way they like.
At the end of 15 Days of Lighthouse is Lighthouse’s yearly Demo Day event on December 3rd. This event is a celebration as well as an educational seminar. Graduating students show off their innovative projects, guests get to ask questions about what they’ve worked on, and curious people get to see for themselves what it might be like to attend one of Lighthouse’s programs.
