Looking for things to do when the kids are off school on break? How about a spot of tea?
This spring, take a “trip” to Paris as Vancouver’s Ladurée unveils several offerings to celebrate the changing seasons. Guests can experience an exclusive Spring Break Special Afternoon Tea for two, a Kids’ Menu designed just for the little ones, and new cakes by Pastry Chef Eulalie Hermand. The Ladurée Spring Break Afternoon Tea ($65 for two), available from March 12th to 28th, 2021, for both adults and kids, features a special assortment of macarons (seasonal flavours include hazelnut, matcha and almond lucuma and caramel banana), a choice of tea-sized cakes (Ispahan, Religieuse, Plaisir), savoury mini croissants, a pair of financiers and madeleines served with Chantilly, fruit salad and a choice of warm beverage (tea, coffee, hot chocolate). Reservations are required.
The Kids’ Menu officially launches on March 12th. Delicious and fun dishes include a Happy Face French Toast, savoury Mac & Cheese, Mini Croissant Sandwich (filling choices include ham, Emmental cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumbers) with veggie sticks and whipped cream cheese dip, desserts, ice cream and more. Kids will also be offered a colouring book and crayon set at the table.
