Edmonton just stepped up its style game.
Gucci has opened a new standalone in Canada’s City of Champions, inside the West Edmonton Mall. The 6,500-square-foot boutique carries a wide collection of the brand’s finest pieces, including men’s and women’s accessories, handbags, luggage, fragrance and jewelry. Design wise, soft elements like sage-green velvet armchairs offset harder surfaces and industrial elements, such as rivets, while artisan painted floors handcrafted in Italy with optical patterns are harmoniously integrated with with a herringbone wood flooring.
Throughout the store, find sumptuous chairs, plus vintage oriental rugs layered next to each other for a textured effect. The result: a space that entices, surprises and feels personal to Gucci, and one that definitely makes us feel like shopping. —Vita Daily
