This Mother’s Day, the way to mom’s heart could very well be through her stomach!

From Vancouver’s Savoury City, a special Mother’s Day Brunch or Afternoon Tea kit is available for pick-up or delivery on May 8 and 9. The Brunch Kit feeds four to six for $119 and includes a work-of-art quiche (choose either spring vegetable, herbs and goat cheese, or smoked bacon, leek and farmhouse cheddar), as well as Lyonnaise potatoes, house-made scones with mascarpone cream and house preserves, butter lettuce salad with citrus and a dozen assorted tarts, squares and cookies for dessert. The Afternoon Tea kit is available for $39 per person (minimum order of two servings) and includes a selection of eight savoury and four sweet bites such as smoked salmon & chive biscuit, caramelized onion & manchego tartlet, lemon curd tartlet with fresh berries and traditional scones with mascarpone cream and house preserves.
