With a heat dome in full swing in parts of Canada, we’re on the hunt for ways to cool down and beat the sizzle.

From Vancouver’s Stanley Park Brewing, new Passion Fruit Sour fits the beer bill. This Pacific-Northwest Style Sour Weisse is brewed with North American Crystal hops and a blend of wheat and barley malt. It is then kettle soured for a tart finish, which is further enhanced by the addition of passionfruit concentrate. Expect the passion fruit to dominate the aroma and flavours, with a lemony citrus note cutting through from the kettle souring process and choice of hops.
This brew is light with only 4.5% Alc./Vol. and 10 IBU, tart and, most importantly refreshing! Find it at the Stanley Park Brewstore and BC Liquor Stores. —Vita Daily
