Hi Cara! Please tell us a bit about yourself to start.

My name is Cara Jourdan, and I am an avid traveller and big dreamer! I have been working as an “influencer” (when I started this career, we were bloggers as Instagram didn’t even exist yet!) for 10 years and have been lucky enough through this job to be able to travel the world. My absolutely favourite place that I have been on my adventures is Sicily; it is so full of life, beauty and love, and this was the first inspiration behind the True x Cara Jourdan With Love Collection.

How did this collab with True Curated Designs come about? What made it a perfect fit for you?

I met Tori through Instagram, and as I was so excited by her beautiful jewels and Tori saw that I loved travel and jewelry, we made a perfect fit for a collaboration. While working on the With Love Collection, my partner worked with Tori on my beautiful engagement ring, too, so Tori and I became even closer as Tori designed something so personal for me.

What’s the inspiration behind the collection, and what pieces are included in the range?

We created this collection for the buyer to purchase and love for themselves, for their best friend, for their sister or mother or love of their life, or for anyone who loves love and adventure! The collection consists of five necklaces, two rings, one set of earrings and an anklet.

Tough question: do you have a favourite piece? If so, what is it, and why?

The Love Token Pendant is my favourite piece in the collection; inspired by my travels to Sicily, Italy, it says “Veni, Vidi, Amavi,” which means “We Came, We Saw, We Loved,” and this is what we believe life is all about! It has two diamonds and two hearts that represent a bond between two people: best friends, lovers, sister, parent and child. We just love love, and wanted to create a token that could be worn daily to remind the wearer that they are loved!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Will you be wearing a piece from this collab on your big day?!

Thank you so much, I am very excited about the big day! I will probably wear all of the pieces! They are all just so beautiful and delicate and look wonderful together, so I am very happy to have the chance to include them in my outfit for my wedding day.
