Crate & Barrel just announced its latest collaboration, and it’s a good one! The décor retailer is teaming up with beloved design brand Shinola Detroit for an exclusive collection, which has interior design fans very excited. Hailing from Detroit, Shinola is known for its beautiful leather goods, fine timepieces and other crafted items. The Crate & Barrel range features a variety of products including chairs, tables and lamps, along with a selection of soft goods and home accents.
“This collaboration naturally blends our brands’ mutual love of great design and honours the luxury hand-crafted quality Shinola stands for,” says Sebastian Brauer, VP product design and development at Crate & Barrel. “This collection is built for the way people want to live—design-forward, clean lines and quality materials with a relaxed vibe—creating that perfectly worn, lived-in feeling customers come to Crate & Barrel for.”
Inspired by the style of the very popular Shinola Hotel, this collab evokes the old-world charm of Motor City, combined with the modern-yet-timeless design sentiment of Shinola. The 115 pieces will launch exclusively for C&B ahead of Shinola’s first-ever Shinola Home retail location in midtown Detroit.

Our personal faves from the range are the Shinola Runwell Wood Frame Leather Sofa, the Shinola Makers Centerpiece Bowls and the Shinola Canfield 23″ Striped Pillows. We’ll be running to Crate & Barrel to snag these. —Lyndi Barrett
