Full disclosure: we have trouble packing a fun AND healthy lunch for our little every single day. Thankfully, Tractor At Home in Vancouver is set to help busy families head back to school with the launch of a new signature Kids Meals program featuring nutritious snacks and versatile small-format meal options.
From September 14, the new menu options come as convenient and affordable all-in-one dishes in smaller portion sizes, prepped with a focus on fresh veg, nourishing whole grains and healthful proteins. Busy parents will have the opp to curate a stress-free meal plan for the workweek by choosing from an array of wholesome grab-and-go snacks, balanced school lunches and simple-yet-tasty mini meals (brekkie, lunch and dinner) that will delight even the pickiest eaters. These will be delivered ready to heat and serve with limited preparation required. Some menu highlights (scaled down and modified with less spice): Vegan Mac & Cheese paired with plain steamed green beans; Turkey Meatballs in tomato sauce accompanied by cooked pasta and parmesan cheese; Chicken Tenders with apricot mustard dip, ginger rice, steamed green beans; and Tofu Poke Bowls featuring edamame, cucumber, carrots and rice.
In Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby or the Tri-Cities region? You’re a perfect candidate for these elevated, easy kid meals! —Noa Nichol
