Halloween is a great time to break out a few simple craft supplies and make something festive. But we know time is of the essence—there’s also so much to do at this time of year. So, here are Halloween crafts you can do in three steps; they’re fun, easy, and super quick to do. —Jennifer Cox
Mummy Jars
- Starting at the bottom of the jar, glue one end of the gauze to the jar and start wrapping.
- Glue on googley eyes.
- Put battery-operated tea light inside.
Paper Plate Spider Web
- Cut a circle out of the middle of the plate.
- Punch holes around the outside of the plate.
- Thread the yarn back and forth across the centre in different holes to create your spiderweb design.
Toilet Paper Roll Bat
- Paint an empty toilet paper roll black.
- Cut ears and wings out of black construction paper and glue on.
- Glue on goggley eyes.
Monster Puppets
- Cut stripes, polka dots, and other shapes out of different coloured construction paper.
- Paint or colour closed brown paper bags in fun colours.
- Glue the shapes onto your monster to create eyes, mouths with tongues and teeth, and more.
Hanging Ghosts
- Cut white hands and black eyes and a mouth out of construction paper and glue onto a paper plate.
- Cut white birthday streamers into 1-2-foot long strips.
- Glue strips to the bottom of the paper plate.
