5 Neutralizing Shampoos

L’Oreal Professionnel Series Expert Chroma Crème (500ml $38, available in select salons) is a professional neutralizing cream shampoo that provides instant colour correction tailored to every tone. No matter what your hair colour is, there is a shade for you: purple for blonde hair, blue for dark blonde to brown, and green for brown to black hair. It provides colour correction, softer roots, and a shinier finish.

If your yellow hues are a little less than sunny, try using Schwarzkopf’s Goodbye Yellow Neutralizing Wash ($16, sold through Mat & Max). It counters and neutralizes unwanted yellow hues by offering a high concentration of blue and violet pigments that adheres to your hair quickly. It gently cleanses while restoring your hair’s natural pH. They also have neutralizing washes for other hues.
