Beautiful Bridal Jewelry Collab Launch (Win!)

Vancouver influencer Samantha Sito has teamed up with local Least Jewelry to launch a bridal collection ahead of her own wedding! We chatted with Sam to find out more about this gorgeous collab, and get deets on her big day! —Noa Nichol

Hi Sam! Congrats on your collab with Least! How did it come about, and what made it a perfect fit for you?

Thanks so much for the support! I connected with Least over a year ago, and she graciously sent over some pieces from her brand. I fell in love with the style and quality of the pieces, and was overall very drawn to the brand. From then, we worked on a partnership together for one of her collections! When I had the idea to design a bridal collection with someone, I knew I wanted it to be a local Canadian brand, but also one that I genuinely loved. I dropped Kim a message with the idea, she loved it, and the rest is history!

What pieces are included in your collaborative bridal jewelry collection?

The Least x Samantha Sito Bridal Collection consists of three stunning pieces that were created with the bridal party in mind! The pieces can be worn by the bride as well:

• Samsational: A stunning layered necklace for the maid of honour
• Bestie Bees: A layered bracelet piece for the bridesmaids
• Honey Drops: A set of threaded earrings—a choice of the marquis gem or flat pearl drop

We aimed for versatility, style and symbolism with each piece. ⁣We went with the marquis gem, taking inspo from my engagement ring. The marquis gem is in the colour champagne to mimic yellow, which is the colour of friendship. ⁣I wanted to stay true to my style, and I adore pearls. We opted for flat pearls instead of rounded ones because flat pearls are more fun and unique. Every pearl is not like the other, like how every individual is special in their own way. ⁣Each piece is wearable day-to-day, dainty, and made to be layered or worn separately allowing for your personal style to shine. ⁣We wanted to ensure that the pieces complement the bridal dresses, and not take away from it. ⁣I absolutely love the dual chains we chose—one is a more twisted chain that sparkles, and one is an interlocking chain. ⁣The collection varies from 14k gold filled to 14k gold plating—we used a thick layer of gold plating, which makes it tarnish-resistant and sweat proof for those outdoor, warmer weather weddings or when you’re dancing the night away! Oh, and everything is super affordable, too!⁣

What was the design process like, in collaboration with Kim from Least?

It was such a fantastic experience to work with Kim. She has an amazing eye for design! We had a Zoom call and just got to know each other—from then I sent basically the ugliest sketches haha, and my hopes and dreams for the pieces, which Kim eloquently put into proper words, and descriptions. The whole process was so collaborative, and we basically had a bucket of wants, narrowed that down, Kim turned them into sketches and digital previews, and we continued to perfect the details from there.

Tough question, but do you have a favourite piece in the range?

Oh gosh, every piece has a special place in my heart because we placed so much meaning and symbolism in every detail. If I had to choose, it would be the Maid Of Honor necklace as it’s the star of the collection. The name is also a fun one—we named the piece Samsational. Like Sensational ya know?

With your (second!) wedding coming up soon, will you be wearing any of these pieces down the aisle? How about those in your bridal party?

I’ve already been wearing them but had to keep them hush hush on social media so I wouldn’t spoil the surprise! But yes, these pieces were made authentic to my personal style. I definitely see myself and my bridal party wearing these pieces on the big day!
