5 Scintillating Spring Scents

May 10, 2022

The smell of spring is in the air. Flowers are in bloom (looking at you, cherry blossoms) and there’s a certain joie de vivre all around. Why not add a spritz of something new? Here are some new fragrances to add a spring to your step. —Amanda Nunes

Estee Lauder’s new Sensuous Stars fragrance ($118) promises to whisk you away on a moonlight walk under the stars. Chinese plums and French lavender create a dreamy, fruity scent.

Guerlain’s revamped Aqua Allegoria collection aims to be more sustainable and eco-friendly, right down to the bottles (they’re refillable and made from recycled glass.) Their newly launched scent, Nerolia Vetiver ($125) is a bright fruity-woody floral inspired by Naples and showcases Calabrian neroli, oil made from orange blossom. 95% of the ingredients in the perfume are of natural origin, and the alcohol used is beetroot alcohol from an organic farm in France.

Get a mood boost with a refreshing blend of fruits like Mexican lime, lychee pulp and Egyptian geranium in Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea Lychee Lime ($62).

If you’re looking for something a little different, look no further than YSL’s Black Opium’s Illicit Green ($135). This bold scent has a dark hit of coffee beans mixed with fresh green mandarin and creamy figs. Finally, this crisp scent finishes off with warm vanilla.

A spritz of All Saints Concrete Rain ($99) is just like an invigorating spring shower. This musky floral is made with mysterious black lily and earthy woody notes for a unisex scent.
