Comfy, cool and colourful is on tap for SS22 and both us and our footsies are thrilled for the candy coloured footwear trend. With the oversized “cool-girl shapes” reminiscent of the late 1990s mixed with hues that conjure up Y2K vibes, this mix of styles will have you walking on trend for the season. With lots of colourful footwear options over at Call It Spring it’s hard to choose. The sherbet hues on offer will add that perfect pop to your outfits, and help you put a stylish foot forward this summer season. The Jazmine sandals ($60) in purple are not only on trend but 100% vegan, peta-approved and sustainable, made from recycled material and 100 per cent water-based PU.

Arguably the most notable “cool girl” brand of the last few years (and with no sign of slowing down) the Ganni footwear game is strong. The chunky shaped Padded Thong sandal ($425) takes us back to the ’90s and we are loving it.

Montreal’s Maguire has a sell out dad sandal that lucky for us they do each season. Adding in new colours and textures, the Tavira in sky blue ($225) this year hits the candy coloured notes bang on. Handmade in Fornos Portugal the sandal comes in five colours and the brand says, “The Tavira is best worn without socks … but hey you do you!”

The most perfectly pink Prada’s are out in shops for SS22 and will surely be very Instagrammed. Like a chunky jelly shoe, their foam and rubber Monolith sandal ($995) is a throwback to decades past. The brand says, “Made of rubber for a fun, contemporary look, the silhouette reinterprets retro beach footwear in a totally new way that reflect Prada’s hybrid soul.”

If you can’t decide on what colour to go with, look no further than the multi-colour Eoweniel sandal ($80) from Aldo. The trifecta of salt water taffy colours—orange, pink, and blue along with the sport like shape and thicker rubber sole has this season shoe trend all wrapped up in one.

Our round up would not be complete without a call out to something green. A hue that seems to be sticking around on both the streets and the runways. The Lounge sandal ($138) with braided straps by L’intervalle are chic, and comfortable, with that perfect shot of colour.
