Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior Makeup, created a natural beauty look that highlights healthy, luminous and flawless skin for the Spring 2023 Men’s Capsule Collection by Kim Jones. Here’s how to “get the look” at home.
complexion. The skin was first prepped with the Capture Totale skincare routine, using the Super Potent Serum followed by the firming and wrinkle correcting cream, and then the Super Potent Eye Serum for the eye area. To blur any imperfections, Philips used the Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer 001 Universal, and then obtained an even complexion with Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation. Touch-ups were made with Dior Backstage Face & Body Flash Perfector Concealer and followed, as a finishing touch, with a light dusting of Dior Backstage Face & Body Powder-No-Powder.
eyes. The eyebrows were structured with the Diorshow Kabuki Brow Styler and the Diorshow On Set Brow.
lips. The lips were hydrated with the Rouge Dior Velvet Balm 000 Diornatural, a universal transparent lip care balm with an unprecedented matte finish.
hair. A wide variety of looks plays on colour and different patterns, with graphic hairstyles inspired by surf, punk and anime.
