Just as Canadians prep for the long weekend, local Juno-nominated jazz singer Alex Bird is garnering buzz after releasing Canada’s first dedicated Thanksgiving holiday song—The Sweetest Moments—perfect for Thanksgiving playlists for the table or while you roast your turkey.
From Alanis Morissette’s Thank U to Bobcaygeon by the Hip, Bird’s new song pairs perfectly with some of Canada’s most beloved tunes to get you in the seasonal spirit this weekend. As one of sweetest holidays, the Toronto singer felt it was a long time coming for Thanksgiving to get a dedicated holiday song in Canada. The song is currently making waves on jazz radio and streaming, including Jazz FM91 and the Sweet Jazz playlist in Spotify. Hear it for yourself below!
