Back by public demand, Mission Hill Family Estate—the Okanagan Valley’s trailblazing vineyard and Canada’s only five-time winner of the Winery of the Year award—is bringing back its hugely popular culinary demonstrations from late October to mid-December.
Guests are invited to join Mission Hill’s culinary team and wine ambassadors as they give a behind-the-scenes look at how quality ingredients transform into artfully crafted dishes that beautifully complement Mission Hill’s world-renowned wines. In the intimate Culinary Theatre, guests will enjoy a front-row-seat dining experience, interacting with the winery’s chefs as they choreograph an innovative tasting menu that pairs with the complexity of Mission Hill’s handcrafted wines. Each demonstration includes a four-course menu alongside wines from the acclaimed Terroir and Legacy collections. Culinary demonstrations include:
Pasta Fatta a Mano, October 28 and 29: Transport yourself to the heart of Italy as the Culinary Team creates a series of house-made pastas while you learn the art of perfect pairings with Terroir and Legacy wines.
Ocean Exploration, November 3 and 4: Experience the lively flavours of the Pacific as Mission Hill’s chefs prepare courses centred around BC’s best sustainable seafood, each paired with expertly selected wines.
For the Love of Food: French Cuisine, November 10 and 11: Experience a tour through the breadth of French cuisine, from simple preparations of fresh ingredients to the complex techniques of haute cuisine. Throughout four courses, guests will discover the tradition and innovation that symbolize France’s rich culinary history, alongside perfect wine pairings.

Chefs highlight different spices, key ingredients and unique elements that exemplify Indian cuisine. Each of the four courses includes wine pairings that bring out the best of the dish—and vice versa.
