We’re a few weeks into the new year and taking note of how consistent we’ve been when it comes to accomplishing our resolutions we set for ourselves. Below are some of our fave items that help keep us accountable to our goals. —Vicki Duong
stanley travel tumbler. A TikTok viral sensation for good reason, the Stanley Adventure Quencher Travel Tumbler ($59) makes it easy for us to drink enough water daily. The unique shape allows this tumbler to sit in cup holders comfortably while a double-wall construction keeps your beverages at optimal temp. We love the reusable straw that makes sipping easy while a handle makes it easy to transport your drinks.
on sports bra. Getting ready to take on your next sweat sesh is easy when you’re equip with the right gear. We’ve been loving the Performance Bra ($95) from On, designed with light padding and a seamless design to keep everything in place no matter what intensity you’re moving. The silhouette has a high neckline to ensure additional coverage while also minimizing vertical bounce.
clinique cleansing balm. Repeat after us “we will not wear makeup to bed.” Whether it’s full coverage foundation or waterproof mascara, Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm ($49) has your makeup melting off easily. The brand recently expanded their cleansing line with a charcoal version of their cleansing balm that uses Japanese charcoal to aid in detoxification of your pores.
fitbit tracker. Keeping track of our steps has never been easier than with our FitBit Sense 2 ($400). More than just a heart rate monitor, this smartwatch helps keep tabs on other health metrics, including your sleep and stress levels as well as logging your workouts. Plus, with interchanging straps customizing your watch for any occasion is made simple.
smash + tess lounge pants. This year we’re focused on being comfortable, no matter what our plans entail. No more waistbands that dig in and fussy non-stretch fabrics, just elevated comfortwear. We’ve been loving the Paula Abdul collab flared pants ($105) from Smash + Tess, which is not only workout ready with its sweat-wicking properties but its foldover waistband makes it an instant fave to kicking back and relaxing.
resthouse body pillow. While we’ll be the first to admit that while we may not get as much sleep as we’d like to, that doesn’t mean we don’t create the best environment when catching up on our beauty sleep. For side sleepers, a good body pillow is a must and we’ve been curling up with the Kakun pillow (starting at $349) from Resthouse. This pillow helps support your shoulders while keeping your hips and spine aligned throughout the night while also improving blood circulation and relieving pressure points so you can rest easy.
selv x acte diffuser blend. If your goals include movement it’s important that it also includes recovery. One of our fave wellness brands, Montreal-based SELV Rituel, has partnered with Acte Training to create a collection of blends formulated for your post workout cool down. Our fave product is the diffuser blend ($22) that invites mental relaxation while elevating your home fragrance with a blend of cedar, fir and smoke.
skinceuticals retinol. We are leveling up our skincare by introducing retinol into our rotation. Proven to be one of the most effective treatments to combat visible signs of aging, retinol can seem intimidating due to its potency but SkinCeuticals makes it easy with two different concentrates. For newbies, the Retinol 0.3 cream ($82) is ideal for continued use or to condition your skin as a prerequisite for the more concentrated Retinol 0.5 ($92). By promoting cellular turnover it not only targets fine lines and wrinkles but also discoloration and blemishes ensure you’re putting your best face forward.
seed probiotic + prebiotic supplement. May 2023 be the year we focus on our gut health as much as we do our skincare. Made to support gastrointestinal and whole-body health, Seed probiotic and prebiotic supplements ($63) takes the guesswork out of your routine. It fights the discomfort of bloating while also supporting a healthy barrier and immune function in your gut. Plus the formula is free of major allergens making it ideal for even sensitive diets.
kilne everything pan. When reviewing our 2022 finances, one thing was clear, we may have opened a food delivery app one too many times. This year we’re aiming to cook more at home to not only save money but to sharpen our culinary skills. While we might not have an entire commercial kitchen at our disposal, we have the next best thing, the Everything Pan ($140) from Kilne. The pan can be used to create a variety of dishes, plus a matching self-basting lid adds versatility to your kitchen.
