Great news Athleta lovers (read: everyone we know)! The B Corp-certified fashion label for women and girls opened its 2,800-plus-square-foot CF Toronto Eaton Centre store today, and we’re so excited to see the brand’s eighth boutique land in the heart of the city’s bustling downtown core, offering up the brand’s versatile studio-to-street collection (we’re looking at you, Endless Pant and Advantage Dress) to urban customers. Indeed, Athleta’s super-versatile pieces are incredible for both working and working out in, for everyday fashion ease.
But that’s not the only reason to celebrate. Ahead of the warmer months to come, Athleta has debuted its new Advantage Tennis Collection, featuring sweaters, polos, poplins and jackets in elevated fabrics and styles and an array of hues like crisp black, white, a subtle damask mauve and a serene deep ocean teal, ranging in price from $35 to $189. Plus, for the first time, the Advantage Dress and Skort; designed with sweat-wicking lightweight fabric, breathable mesh details, secure ball pockets, internal shorts and hem grippers for a distraction-free game, the Advantage Skort is a hero piece.

Interestingly, this latest tennis offering launches on the heels of a new and transformative partnership between the United States Tennis Association and Athleta, and, also, “plays” to the fact that, according to a 2019 executive report from Tennis Canada, 6.5 million Canadians played the sport in 2018 with a continued growth trajectory. As such, the Advantage collection most certainly furthers Athleta’s organizational mission to empower women and girls to reach their limitless potential. Game, set, match!
