March 8 is International Women’s Day and this year Toronto’s Casa Madera is celebrating throughout the month of March with a new custom cocktail offering, Mujer Poderosa.
Available for $18, the drink includes El Tesoro Blanco, St Germain, creme de violet, yuzu, agave and bitters. It was created by a Casa Madera West Hollywood bartender, Lee Taylor, who wanted to honour his powerhouse female colleagues for IWD. The best part? Casa Madera will be partnering with Working Women Community Centre and donating $2 from all Mujer Poderosa cocktail sales to this organization, making a difference in the lives of immigrant women and their families in Toronto.
