Want to snag a truly unique pair of jeans? Deadstock (i.e., no-longer-in-production) Triarchy denim pieces are now available at stylish secondhand Vancouver retailer Collective Will, in-store and online. Note: these are styles are no longer available from the brand, and the only other retailer to sell the label in Vancouver is Holt Renfrew—though not even Holts likely has these special jeans in stock. We chatted with Collective founder Randa Salloum to get the full scoop. —Noa Nichol
Hi Randa! What’s special about this offering?
This is an exciting moment for denim lovers! Although Triarchy is widely loved, they only ship within the United States. Collective Will is going to be the only place in Vancouver (and most of Canada) that customers can purchase, and try-on a selection of styles.
What denim pieces will be available, and what makes them so unique?
As we are a boutique who focuses on preloved, the Triarchy selection is unique in that it consists of seven deadstock styles—meaning they are new but cannot be found anywhere outside of the resale marketplaces. Triarchy denim is paving the way in the denim industry because of their mission to be the world’s most responsible denim brand.
Who should definitely come and check out this range, while it lasts?!
If you’re someone who’s on the hunt for a great pair of jeans, or loves a responsible company, this would be a great time to check out the selection. Triarchy is made from 100 per cent certified organic cotton and washed with the most advanced responsible laundry technology available. A single pair of jeans can use upwards of 100 litres of water, but Triarchy’s process uses up to one glass of water.
What are your top picks that will be available to shop at Collective Will?
The High Rise Relaxed Straight and the Ms. Keaton High Rise Baggy are two must-haves in a denim collection. They are the perfect everyday jean! For those who love a vintage inspired pair, I highly recommend the Josephine Denim Overalls.
