With more and more Canadians seeking premium sparkling wines (present company included), we’re tickled to see Henkell Crémant de Loire AOC Brut available on B.C. liquor store shelves this spring!
Despite being the most exported sparkling wine brand from Germany, Henkell Crémant de Loire is, simultaneously, quite exclusive, limited to a volume of only 20 million bottles annually. Offering a unique and delicious taste, the grapes for this gilded light-gold liquid are hand-harvested, with only the best juices used. After a thoughtful double-fermentation, the result is a luxe sparkling wine with delicate fruity notes of ripe peach, brioche and hazelnut—juicy, full-bodied, perfect. Pair it with parties (!) or, food wise, with fish, shellfish and desserts.
But that’s not all; Henkell Crémant impresses not only with its taste, but also its beautiful bottle design. Boasting the brand’s insignia (a red ribbon) on the bottleneck and label, the label‘s shape is, too, based on the coat of arms of the Bourbons, making the connection to Henkell’s French roots clear as, well, the wine itself.
Exceptionally elegant, classic, sparkling, you’ll want to serve this elixir to your guests through spring and summer hosting season, and beyond. Cheers! —Vita Daily
