Verifying the identity of the organiser, crowdfunding site GoFundMe has vetted fundraisers for individuals and families who lost property or were injured in the fires. The American Red Cross is collecting donations for those affected by the Hawaiian wildfire disaster. Expressing heartfelt sympathies for those whose way of life has been forever altered, it’s responding to this devastating event by providing shelter and comfort to impacted victims. The Maui Strong Fund provides quickly deployed financial resources, with 100 percent of the funds distributed to rapid response and recovery in Maui.
