I grew up in South Florida, and everyone there loved Festival Flea Market. My girlfriends and I would wander up and down those long aisles in our skorts and Keds, sipping on a Fruitopia and shopping for cheap makeup. It’s where I bought my first brown lipstick. It was chocolate-brown with a slight shimmer, and I donned it in all my ’90s teen pics with my flipped bangs and slap bracelets. Clinique’s Even Better Pop Lip Colour Foundation Lipstick ($30, available at The Bay) comes in 13 lucky brown shades, so you’ll always find the perfect hue for you. This lovely palette of colours is flattering to any skin and undertone, and it’s free of parabens, phthalates, and fragrance. In typical Clinique fashion, it’s just about happy skin!
Give the 1990s a nod with Clinique’s Lasting Finish Lipstick from Rimmel London ($6). It has a smooth, creamy texture that offers ultra comfortable wear. And because it’s formulated for high colour impact, it also lasts up to eight hours.
