Capri Holdings Limited, the global fashion luxury group consisting of Versace, Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors, has announced that it will make a donation through its foundation to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in support of those affected by the conflict in Israel and Gaza.
ICRC is a humanitarian organization that directs and coordinates relief efforts of its Red Cross and Red Crescent partners. Its mission is to help people around the world affected by armed conflict and other violence, doing everything it can to protect their lives and dignity and to relieve their suffering.
“We are shocked and saddened by the violence and loss of life in Israel and Gaza,” says John D. Idol, the chairman and CEO of Capri Holdings. “We hope that contributing to the ICRC’s efforts is a step toward lessening the suffering of all those affected.”
