In its fourth year, Aritzia‘s annual winter clothing donation initiative, The Gift of Warmth, continues to exemplify the brand’s commitment to positive change in communities—starting from Vancouver and reaching across North America. This initiative, rooted in Aritzia’s ethos of “A Better Everyday. Together,” focuses on opportunity, well-being, and belonging as key areas of impact.
The heart of The Gift of Warmth lies in providing thousands of high-quality parkas, puffers, wool coats, and jackets to Aritzia Community partners. These partners, including notable organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, YWCA Canada, Stonewall Community Foundation, Urban Native Youth Association, The Brotherhood Sister Sol, Cause We Care Foundation, Mamas For Mamas, Out My Closet, Union Gospel Mission and the Vancouver School Board, play a crucial role in distributing the donated winter wear to those in need. By doing so, Aritzia directly contributes to the well-being of these communities during the coldest months of the year.
Aritzia recognizes the profound impact that a warm coat can have beyond physical warmth. They believe in the positive ripple effect that extends to various aspects of individuals’ lives, fostering a sense of belonging and creating opportunities for a brighter future. With a focus on Women and Children, Aritzia aims to make a meaningful difference, embodying the spirit of the holiday season throughout the year.
To date, Aritzia has touched the lives of over 13,000 people across North America through The Gift of Warmth. This year alone, more than 4,000 women and children in Canada and the USA will experience the warmth and comfort provided by Aritzia’s generosity.
