The hotel is inviting guests to be a part of an exclusive whisky tasting experience set in the rich ambience of the Bengal Lounge. Indulge in a five-course dinner thoughtfully paired with finely aged whiskies from the renowned Dalmore distillery.
For 185 years, The Dalmore has been at the forefront of whisky craftsmanship, blending tradition and innovation to create expressions that have been defined as masterpieces. Now, in partnership with Fairmont Empress, guests will have the rare opportunity to explore The Dalmore’s iconic Principal Collection of Highland Single Malt whiskies. The dinner will include six distinct pours featuring: The Dalmore 12, The Dalmore 18, Cigar Malt Reserve, King Alexander III, Port Wood Reserve, and The Dalmore 21. Offering a journey through their exquisite range, culminating with the pinnacle of the collection, the rare and refined 21-year-old expression.
Fairmont Empress’ culinary team will pair each pour with an exquisite dish to create an enhanced flavour profiling the drinks’ depth, complexity, or smoky characteristics. The menu features foie gras, ham hock terrine, bison short rib, venison fillet, and citrus lemon poppyseed cake for dessert. The evening will be hosted by Dalmore’s Senior Brand Ambassador, Louis-Jérôme Barbosa-Doise, and Single Malt Specialist, Emma Coady, who will unveil the nuances and character of each whisky.
