No visit to the Arizona/Utah border is complete without a tour of the Navajo Nations Slot Canyons. Serene and awe-inspiring, slot canyons are a geological marvel: they are long narrow channels or drainage-ways with sheer rock walls that are typically eroded into either sandstone or other sedimentary rock. On a recent trip to Amangiri Resort in Utah, we hopped over the border to Arizona for a breathtaking Three Canyon Tour led by Navajo guide Eli Secody.
